Pray for Media and Entertainment 2021

The Airwaves of Global Gospel Worship Radio

(by Marina Maria)

“Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples. For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord.”

Psalm 117 was the unforgettable scripture that the Lord put in my heart to represent the Christian, internet radio station he gave me in January 2021, which was Global Gospel Worship Radio (GGWR). Therefore, you will hear Psalm 117 in the airwaves. However, my ministry, Faith City Outreach LLC, is a dual ministry, for it is a radio, Global Gospel Worship Radio, and a native mission’s ministry.

Global Gospel Worship Radio ( reaches every country in the world with Christian music in different languages and programs that spread the gospel. However, years before I went into radio, I prayed to God to use my voice for his glory because I really enjoyed reading the book of psalms and writing my own poetry to him, as well as participating in plays with biblical themes. In the summer of 2018, God led me to go volunteer at a local Christian radio station, The Trumpet 1280 AM, for the entire summer and I did it. I did not have any professional background in radio but in education and my learning in radio started here.

God helped me to easily schedule radio interviews by phone for a pastor’s radio program, which is normally a big challenge for people because pastors do not quickly trust people who they do not know. At the end of the summer, my husband Louie and my family in Christ Jesus told me to start my own radio program at Faith Talk 1360, in Phoenix, Arizona.

Sharing the native pastor or leader voices on radio has been important to God because the world has oppressed their voices for many years but now their voices can be heard

As soon as my radio program began, Faith City Outreach, I met Pastor David Cota, a missionary, native pastor from Arizona Ministry Network, who has been in ministry for over 25 years. He was my first kingdom connection because he introduced me to numerous pastors and leaders to interview on my radio program such as Katherine Pierce, Mark McKeller, Pastor Esteban and Claudia Escobar, Eric Johnson, Jr., Pastor Cid Cota, and others who serve the Lord in the Arizona Native reservations. Sharing the native pastor or leader voices on radio has been important to God because the world has oppressed their voices for many years but now their voices can be heard. Many times it is challenging for native pastors to drive to the city so when I go to the native lands, I can pray and interview them there too. “So the last will be first, and the first will be last.” Matthew 20:16.

My first international phone radio interview was with Reverend Robert Clancy from Repentance Revival ( in Australia and we discussed the topic of spiritual warfare in America and revival. He was so generous to add our phone radio interview on his YouTube channel. I was surprised but honored that he wanted to be on my radio program, Faith City Outreach, because I had not been in radio for too long and I did not have my radio station yet. God was preparing me to interview more international leaders.

During this time, God also gave me the passion to do missionary work in the Arizona native lands with Pastor David Cota and with Four Winds Ministries, where I now help lead teams. The most recent prayer team had 22 people and the theme God gave me was, “God Has Not Forgotten You.” The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18. Our team prayed and reminded the natives that the Lord loves them very much and that he has not forgotten them.

A breakthrough in my radio ministry came in November 2020, at the end of a 12 week prayer ministry course held by Lilian Schmid, National Coordinator, Prayer Strategy for the Spheres of Influence, where God sent a donor to buy me an internet radio station and later bought me a second one. God has also sent Lilian as another kingdom connection and a ministry prayer partner and she has referred me leaders to interview, such as Barbara Miller, John Robb, Os Hillman, Karen Covell from Hollywood Prayer Network, Jeffrey Daly and others. Afterwards, God opened more doors to interview more global leaders and to create partnerships with them such as with Jeffrey Daly, the Founder of the National Day of Repentance, [Editor: link is not working – try], where we encourage global leaders to join on April 30, 2022 for a Global Day of Repentance.

God has not forgotten you – He loves everyone from all the nations – He is waiting for us to repent of our sins and return to Him so He can be our first love again.

It is so wonderful that God gave me Psalm 117 to represent Global Gospel Worship Radio (GGWR) because it is the book of psalms that touches my heart the most when I read them to him. This dual ministry is his and I am thankful and honored to be his ambassador. He loves everyone from all the nations. God has not forgotten you. He is waiting for us to repent of our sins and return to him so he can be our first love again. Let us repent, worship and praise him together. Praise the Lord all you nations!

Prayers for Media and Entertainment During the Month of November

(prepared by Lilian Schmid)

“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about such things.” (Philippians 4:8)

The Media includes news sources such as radio and TV stations, newspapers, internet news sites, along with opinion (blog) sites and ‘Social Media’.

Let us pray that:

  • Jesus is glorified in the sphere of Media and Entertainment.
  • Media and Entertainment will be truth-bearing and contributors to unity in Christ.
  • The channels of Media, including Social Media, are used to amplify the message of God’s love to a hurting world.
  • All theatres, concert venues, music, performing arts, and literature bring glory to God in all their publications and events.
  • All venues are places of positive personal connection and places where people come to know the love and grace of Jesus.
  • All Christians working and meeting others in these spaces, that they would speak out for truth, hope, and love.

Prayers and Scripture

Lord, You are in control of the whole world.
You make the sun shine and the wind blow.
Lord, please take control of the sphere of Media and Entertainment;
Help the people in this sphere with your revelation to know Your truth
as the Creator of the whole universe.

Let your will be done in this sphere as it is in Heaven.
O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit,
did instruct the hearts of the faithful,
us in the same Spirit to be truly wise
and ever to rejoice in His consolation.

Through Christ our Lord.

“Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord , which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.” (Isaiah 45:1-3 KJV)

Pray that God will send His Holy Spirit to strengthen His believers in the sphere of Media and Entertainment.

Dear Lord,
raise up Christian leaders in the sphere of Media and Entertainment.
Anoint them with your Holy Spirit to bear much fruit.
Protect them Lord and protect their families and workplaces.
Come, Holy Spirit,

fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love.
“Send forth your spirit and they shall be created.
And you shall renew the face of the earth.”
Through Christ our Lord we pray and believe.

Give praise to God for the sphere of Media and Entertainment.

“From them will come songs of thanksgiving and the sound of rejoicing. I will add to their numbers, and they will not be decreased; I will bring them honor, and they will not be disdained.” (Jeremiah 30:19)

“I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge” (1 Corinthians 1:4-5)

“The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the LORD and sang: “He is good; his love endures forever.” Then the temple of the LORD was filled with the cloud.” (2 Chronicles 5:13)
