Prayer for The Arts Sphere of Influence

Father God,
I bring before YOU in prayer, the Arts Sphere of Influence, joining with my brothers and sisters in Christ that Your heart’s desire flows freely, reclaiming all that which YOU have created for Your children to enjoy and revel in.
May You be glorified in all we think, speak say and do.
Father thank You for Your Spirit of creativity.
The Bible is jam packed with evidence of Your boundless creative ability, from Genesis to the Book of Revelation (special note Hebrews 1:1-3).
Thank You that You have created man in YOUR own image and likeness (Genesis 1:26-31).
Thank You Holy Spirit that You gives gifts to all men – even severally (1 Corinthians 12:7).
Father, thank You, that You give gifts without repentance, (Romans 11:29), and You remain true to Your Word.
You remain faithful and true to Your Word (Numbers 23:19).
Thank You, Lord, Your Word never returns to You without performing that which it was sent to do (Isiah 55:11); You spoke and it was (cf Genesis 1).
Thank You, Father, that our lives are so much richer, our relationships deeper, our lives more fulfilling, because of the creative ability You give us of the expression of beauty within Yourself that is evident in all You have created, and the ability You have given us to express through the Arts and even in conversation with one another, the beauty that comes from You.
You say to ponder and speak about that which is good, and beautiful, and lovely, and that has merit (Philippians 4:8).
Thank You, Father.
Thank You for calling us to be partners with You in Your creativity.
Thank You for the creative ability of prayer that can change lives, nations and the very atmosphere where we live.
Father, I gather before You, the Arts Sphere of Influence, everything about it, and all who function in it – past, present and to come, and all who participate in it, and all affected by it.
I acknowledge before You, You do not live in time for You have created time. Therefore time is Your servant.
I also acknowledge all You do is circular not linear.
Father, I do acknowledge before You that we all sin and fall short of Your Glory.
So as one of Your children, I lift up repentance on behalf of all those You have called to function here as Your representatives for the misuse, corruption, distortion, abuse and twisting of the Arts You so desire to use
for good,
for reconciliation and peace,
for healing,
for deliverance,
for revealing truth,
for enjoyment,
for expression of the inexpressible,
for correction,
for justice,
for freedom….
for Your heart’s desire for ALL Your children.
Father, I lift up The Finished Work of The Cross regarding this because of what is written in Colossians 1:20 and Colossians 2:9-15 (note v14-15).
Father I call upon Your mercy and love, to cleanse this vital sphere of influence that affects every person You have created.
Father, with my brothers and sisters in Christ, I call all, about and in the Arts Sphere of Influence into divine order in Jesus’ Name.
Father, I declare and decree that the Arts Sphere will be used for the glory of Your holy Name.
I plead The Blood of The Spotless Lamb of God on behalf on ALL including the whole of The Body of Chris, in The Name of Jesus, because of 1 John 1:9 and all that Jesus The Christ has done on our behalf.
Father because of what is written in Colossians 1:20 I release the power and the Blood of The Cross to cleanse everything about the Arts Sphere of influence. And I speak The Name Jesus over it and all associated with it.
I speak deliverance, healing, restoration, breakthrough and turnaround.
Father, may a new sound arise in worship of You, in Jesus’ Name.
Thank You, Father for what is written in Job 22:28 and in Numbers 23:19.
Father, I ask You to bless each one in the Arts Sphere for their works, in the precious and powerful name JESUS.
Thank You, Lord, for new assignments, divine connections, new energy and divine synergy.
Father, thank You and bless You for ALL You are producing in this wonderful Arts Sphere
Thank You Holy Spirit for divine inspiration and intelligence You give for the furtherance of The Kingdom through Your creativity.
Father, thank You for ALL the technology we now have and will have to use in the Arts Sphere, and special blessings for those You use to bring them forth.
Father, I lift up the prayer of Jabez in 1 Chronicles 4:10 as You see fit regarding the Arts Sphere of Influence.
Again Father God, thank You for Your Creative Spirit.
Thank You for Your love, will, purpose, plan and timing.

The Witch’s Knight

Linda fell into writing, directing and producing films by accident. She left high school at age 14 for reasons she doesn’t share, and started out in theatre, but knew she wanted to go into film.
While watching the film “Machine Gun Preacher,” the reality of the characters appealed to her. When she listened to the testimony of the Kendricks Brothers (back in the days of DVD – lol) on “Facing The Giants,” her heart just about leapt out of her chest. She realised that we face giants, challenges and obstacles all the time; spiritually, financially and practically, but nothing is impossible with Christ. What an appropriate film that called Linda to do this.
They say, write what you know, and she know spiritual warfare, personally in her own life and the lives of others. Linda knows she is saved by the death of Jesus on the cross and His resurrection 3 days later, and “there by the Grace of God go I.” A natural storyteller, she loves sharing what God has done.
In the film area she has had a lot to learn, but God asks for excellence not perfection. People from the cast and crew of films she has been involved with have helped her, by sharing their knowledge and talent. She knows it has always been a team effort, not just her as a Writer/Director or Producer. She has learnt some of the business side but it is not her strength.
Linda is a writer, director and producer for short films, but she knows she has capacity to do more; to be a creative producer for a feature film. She has written a feature film “The Witch’s Knight,” a medieval film. A scene from the script, “The Preacher’s Wife” has already been filmed in Queensland (Australia), and the clip is included in this article below.
NOTE: If you are concerned about your children watching the short, Linda suggests you watch it first, then decide if you want them to see it; it has a lot of spiritual truth in it.
Red Movie Awards 2026 Spring – Winner Best Film – Linda Marie Curry
This scene was filmed with little resources or funding and won a 2026 Red Movie award “Winner Best Film” (it has won a few).
Another scene will be filmed in September 2026 to show the feature movie can be done in Queensland. This second short will be child friendly.
We don’t have a huge budget for either the feature or the short. Would Linda like to have a big budget? Yes of course, she understands the scale of the scene would be so good but what she does here on a low budget, is under God and His favour.

Praying for the Arts

The sphere of the Arts carries a unique power to shape how people see God, themselves, and the world. Long before ideas are spoken from pulpits or written in policies, they are planted in the imagination through story, music, image, movement, and design. Creativity is one of the earliest gifts God entrusted to humanity, a reflection of His own nature as Creator, and the Arts were always meant to reveal His beauty, truth, and glory. Yet in every generation, this sphere becomes a battleground of competing narratives some that elevate the human spirit, and others that distort identity, celebrate darkness, or disconnect creativity from its divine source.
As prayer leaders, we stand in the gap to call the Arts back into alignment with God’s original intent, blessing those who create, influencing the atmosphere around cultural expression, and releasing prophetic creativity that awakens hearts to Jesus.
