Release of After The Rainbow Came Hope on July 4, 2025
After the Rainbow Came Hope is a heartfelt testimony of resilience, healing, and unwavering faith. In this deeply personal memoir, the author, Marina Maria, gives all glory to God for transforming trauma into triumph, and pain into purpose.
Through raw and honest storytelling, Maria shares her journey from a childhood marked by domestic violence, sexual abuse, academic struggles, and poverty—toward healing, restoration, and ultimately, hope and a life transformed by grace.
Anchored in scriptures like Romans 8:28 and Genesis 9:13-17, this book is a powerful encouragement to the brokenhearted. It is a reminder that no matter how dark the past, God’s love brings healing and the promise of a brighter future.
After the Rainbow Came Hope by Marina Maria Carbajal is for anyone who has ever felt lost, unloved, or hopeless—and is ready to discover that the greatest love of all comes from the One who never leaves us.
Available from Amazon in paperback and as a Kindle book everywhere. (Links provided to USA store – remember to change to Amazon in your country if you are not served by the USA store.)
Launch of Teachers’ Resources on “The Uplift” of Aboriginal and Jewish People during NAIDOC Week 6-13 July 2025
From: Indigenous Friends of Israel International
Date: Friday, 13 June 2025
At Indigenous Friends of Israel International, we notice that education authorities have called for the need of antisemitism education in schools. As this is a sensitive area and obviously needs to be age appropriate, we have developed units that align with the national curriculum v9. We have worked with a very experienced curriculum writer in Brisbane to develop the material.
We are working on the unit for Grades 3 and 4 and have written a children’s book on William Cooper to go with it. He stood up for “the uplift,” as he called it, of his Aboriginal people, and Jewish people during the Holocaust. As he is called the Father of NAIDOC, we are launching it in Cairns as part of the official NAIDOC Week celebrations. It will be launched by edutainer, artist, singer and didjeridoo player David Hudson who played the didjeridoo in 2017 at Beer Sheva Israel for the 100th anniversary of the Australian Lighthorse charge.
[Note that NAIDOC Week is celebrating its 50 years milestone in 2025, and significantly the theme this year is “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy“.]
