Law and Justice in Effective Spiritual Warfare
(by Dr. Raphael Christopher)
General Overseer, The Logos Family Church Worldwide King David, through The Great & Mighty Holy Spirit, by Psalm 89:14 declared that Righteousness and Justice are the foundation of The Throne of Our God with steadfast love and faithfulness going before Our God.
Prophet Moses, centuries before King David, through The Great & Mighty Holy Spirit, by Deuteronomy 32:4 declared that Our God is The Rock, whose work is perfect because all His ways are justice. Our God being a God of faithfulness who does no wrong for He is a just and upright God. We see the same thoughts being echoed by the Prophet Abraham, centuries before the prophet Moses when he says of Our Father God, “…Will not The Judge of all the earth do what is right?…” (Genesis 18:25 NIV)
The Prophet Isaiah through The Great & Mighty Holy Spirit, by Isaiah 33:22 declared that Our God is our Judge and He is also our Law giver, our King and our saviour. This is echoed many centuries later by The Apostle James, through The Great & Mighty Holy Spirit by James 4:12 when he declared Our God the ONLY Lawgiver and Judge.
These scriptures are very clear.
Our God is The Law. He is the Law giver. All His ways are just. This revelation shows us that The Law is who our God is and it is His character. Since, the Prophet Malachi in Malachi 3:6, through the Great & Mighty Holy Spirit, declared forever that God is The Lord and He never changes and because He never changes we the children of God are not consumed. The Apostle James, through The Great & Mighty Holy Spirit, in James 1:17 agrees with Prophet Malachi that our God does not change and with whom there is no shadow of turning. This means that our God is always just. He can never ever be unjust, and only He, as the Lawgiver, defines and sets the standard by which justice can be achieved correctly.
The primary goal and focus of Spiritual warfare is to bring about the justice of God in all the world, our governments, our countries, our cities, our communities, our neighbourhood and our families using The Law of God or the laws of the Kingdom of God. The Apostle Paul, through The Great & Mighty Holy Spirit, declared in Romans 14:17, that the Kingdom of God, is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in The Great & Mighty Holy Spirit. The Kingdom of God works by righteousness and produces the justice of God. Colossians 3:15 reminds us that Peace is also a ruler by asking us to let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts and of course, our Lord Jesus is and remains The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6) and He is and remains The King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Revelation 19:16). The Ruler of Rulers!
Now, let us understand Law and Justice. Are they the same? Are they different? If they are different, how are they different?
Justice is the end result of the operation and application of the law. It is the ideal results that the law was established to achieve. It is the ultimate goal that the law is striving to achieve, the desired result of the right application, and to achieve true justice in any of its ramifications for mankind. To achieve justice, the right laws are needed and are imperative.
Law on the other is the body of rules, regulations, and commands that is used to achieve justice. Let us be clear; law is not the only means to achieve justice. Force is another means by which justice can be obtained. But using force to obtain justice is illegal and does not result in good justice that the Kingdom of God is established to achieve. Another way to achieve justice is through mercy and grace. We are saved through mercy and grace and need mercy and grace throughout our sojourn on the earth.
Essentially, Law has to be applied to achieve justice. So, Law and Justice are different. They are not the same.
This has profound implications in effective spiritual warfare. The implications are that since Our God is the Lawgiver. He is The Law who produces Laws. His Laws are focused on achieving justice because justice is one of the foundations of God’s throne. The other foundation of God’s Throne is righteousness. Hence first before approaching God we have to repent of our sins, corporately and individually in prayers and fasting and come by the entrance of The Blood of Jesus to the Throne of God, before we can qualify to gain a place of access to the Throne for the laws of God and mercy to find grace to help us to now kick in to help us in our times of need (Hebrews 4:16).
Prophet Isaiah through The Great & Mighty Holy Spirit in Isaiah 1:18-20 sets out the pattern for us to follow and explains the reasonings of God behind it. Why? The reason and explanation is given in Isaiah 1:21-23. This explanation of God for us is very insightful. It tells us what The Lord desires for us in spiritual warfare, so we can intelligently access His Throne to pray the following results into our nations, countries, neighbourhood, cities, etc.
They are summarised as follows:
- Our country and cities and neighbourhoods to be faithful to God and not to be a prostitute.
- Our country and cities and neighbourhoods to be full of justice.
- Our country and cities and neighbourhoods to be dwelt in by righteousness.
- No murderers to dwell in our country and cities and neighbourhoods.
- Our financial systems and economy not to become dross or worthless.
- Our food and wine to be of good quality and not become diluted with water.
- Our Rulers never to be rebels against God.
- Our Rulers never to partner with thieves.
- Our Rulers to hate bribes and be incorruptible.
- Our Rulers not to chase after gifts and hospitality.
- Our Rulers to defend the cause of the fatherless.
- Our Rulers to actively allow the case of the widow to come to them.
All of the above is exemplified by Our Lord Jesus Christ. He pursued Justice. He did this by touching the untouchables. He touched the leper in Mathew 8:1-4. He welcomed women. He saved the life of the woman caught in Adultery in John 8:1-11. He welcomed little children in Matthew 19:14. He changed the whole nation and nations and still doing the same yesterday today and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
He touched dead bodies like the son of the widow of Nain (Luke 7:11-17). He broke the social conventions and religious dictates to bless humanity and as His followers, our sense of justice and the law comes from Him.
When Jesus comes into a person’s heart, justice becomes easy and immediate. We see this in the life of Zacchaeus the tax collector whom Jesus had dinner with and who did justice because he had met Jesus (Luke 19:8). We see this also in John the Baptist admonitions in Luke 3:10 -14.
So, to achieve justice, we must continually pray for our countries and cities and neighbourhoods to encounter The Lord Jesus as per our great commission in Mark 16:15 given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ. This is the great goal of spiritual warfare.
We are therefore to look to the scriptures to define what is right and what is wrong. Let us bear in mind that although our God is Love and He is Holy but He is also a God of Justice. It is His Love for us that requires His Justice. His justice is the result of His love for us. His Laws are to help us work with Him to establish His justice which ensures we live in harmony so all the earth thrives and prosper for when the righteous are in rulership positions, The King Solomon through the Great & Mighty Holy Spirit, in Proverbs 29:2 tells us that when the righteous rule, the people will flourish! “Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.” (Psalm 82:3 ESV).
In spiritual warfare then, we are to use the law of God to “learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, and please the widow’s cause.” (Isaiah 1:17 ESV). We are also to heed the words of The law of God explaining His requirements of us thus “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8b ESV) and “But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and every herb, and neglect justice and the love of God. These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others.” (Luke 11:42 ESV).
How do we do all these? We do all these through a combination of prayer backed with physical actions, for faith without physical works is dead (James 2:26).
We are to use different strategies that we receive from God. So we seek Him first and get his plans (laws) and strategies to use to achieve justice for our nations, countries, cities and neighbourhoods for the spiritual warfare and battle not our own. It belongs to God. God leads us through The Great & Mighty Holy Spirit and we follow His lead 100% all the time and if we do so, we will be engaging in effective spiritual warfare to achieving justice using the laws of God.
Let us finish by reminding ourselves of this great passage of scripture giving us the laws of God for successful spiritual warfare.
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” (Ephesians 6:10-13 KJV)
The wonderful news about all of these is that our God NEVER fails. So, if we follow His Laws, we can expect not to fail ourselves and receive great justice, much victories, and much joy and rejoicing in our countries, nations, cities and neighbourhoods, and end up like the roll call of Heroes of faith (Hebrews 11:7-40). For after all, Our Lord Jesus came so we may have life and have that life abundantly! (John 10:10)
Shalom!
Dancing Upon Injustice
(by Iris White)
The Bible speaks often, loud, clear, and much needed with such devastation polluting the world. As I look at it all, the words of one of our most beautiful songs immediately spring to mind me; I am a dancer who dances upon injustice. The injustice that permits death to wipe out innocent lives.
Scripture reminds me not to take the law into my own hands for that is lawlessness. I do however have a voice and that must be heard. First and foremost, in prayer. As I start to pray, I hear music.
It’s ringing in my ears. The chorus from “Did You Feel The Mountain Tremble” (by Martin Smith of Delirious):
Open up the doors and let the music play
Let the streets resound with singing,
Songs that bring your hope
Songs that bring your joy
Dancers who dance upon injustice
My heart is again in tune with my soul, and I am ready to stand up for the rights of every human being, to tell them not to fall into Satan’s trap.
The demonic is at large like we have never seen it before. Our Bibles are taken from our schools. Our children are no longer taught simple religious education. Some schools have clothes for the children to change into and encourages them, without the consent of parents, to cross dress, therefore, nurturing them in a way that should never be allowed. It serves only to open a yet unfamiliar path to follow. In the disturbance of curiosity, encouraging children to experiment in occult practices.
Alongside everyday violence erupting from practically every BBC TV channel, as it operates one murder after another that needs solving whilst feeding minds with bitterness. TV has become the entry point for the occult to come directly into the heart of the home. The BBC was always noted for its Christian output, but sadly things have changed drastically these days.
Still, we must remain dancers – singing in tune with the Lord, dancing upon injustice, for judgement is His, not ours. We are called to pray for the afflicted (Matthew 5:43-45).
The Bible is very clear. It is written, if those people we are praying for or talk to about Jesus continue to reject Him and will not listen to you or to me or to God, then we must disassociate ourselves from them and leave them to their own devices for there is nothing more we can do. We are wasting our breath. God is the Judge. His judgement will have the final word. His ways are not our ways. Even Jesus brushed the dust off his feet as He walked away from his home town – leaving justice to be accomplished (Luke 4:14-30, Matthew 13:53-58). We also must walk our own salvation landscape, so we may continue to dance, with the angelic hosts, upon injustice, in prayer.
Maranatha!
Jesus is coming soon.
Be blessed.

Philosophy and God in Law and Justice
(by Jonathan Matei)
Philosophy is not an accurate method to define Law and Justice. This worldly standard was not given to man from God himself and it is contrary to the authority of scripture — “In truth, in justice and in righteousness; then the nations will bless themselves in Him, and in Him they will glory” (Jeremiah 4:2). The term “world” is not merely trajected towards this planet or a group of people; rather it is defined as the order-of-influence or system of thought, deprived of God’s love and direction, designed to capture and confuse the minds of people. Before we discuss Law and Justice, it is essential to understand this order-of-influence and system-of-thought so we can get a clear visual of how secular people perceive Law and Justice so we won’t see it solely from a human point-of-view.
The system-of-thought is when you understand things from your own point-of-view, which is okay but it is not always accurate because our minds fall short of God’s standards. Whereas, living and thinking from the order-of-influence is extremely dangerous because you are being influenced by demonic spirits, principalities, and evil rulers in the heavenly places and of the air. “And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world(order-of-influence), following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience” (Ephesians 2:1-2).
Now, let’s go back to the word philosophy; if you take the three words: study, idea, and life; and you put them together, you get the word philosophy—the study and the idea of life. We understand that God’s law never changes, so then, if God’s law never changes, why do laws in America change? The Congress makes new laws and many people come together to vote for laws but there is a greater power at work that is influencing the people in Congress. As I mentioned before, the greater power at work is the evil kingdoms, rulers, and thrones working in the minds and hearts of the people to steer them towards evil doings. The book of Ephesians in the Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against evil rulers and authorities in the unseen world [Ephesians 6:12].
It is not bad to say that laws change in America and other parts of the world. However, Christians find themselves scratching their heads when realizing that laws change in a negative way according to demonic influences. There are secular people with power in Congress who have authority to change laws but they are influenced by the order-of-influence according to the power of the air [Ephesians 2:1-2].
This order-of-influence is mentioned in the book of Daniel chapter 10, where he began fasting and praying for understanding and humility for twenty-one days. On the twenty-first day of his fast, an angel came down to Daniel through a powerful vision. Notice on verse 12 and 13, the angel told Daniel, since the very first day Daniel began praying, his prayer was heard, but the demonic prince of the Persian kingdom was hindering Daniel’s prayer from being answered. This comes to show that there are demonic spirits stationed in every city and nation to bring about demonic spiritual influences. The spirit realm is more real than this physical world and this comes to show how corrupt nations can be when passing new laws.
For example, when you read through the Old Testament, you can see the demonic influence working to push the act of abortion in Moses’ day. Pharaoh had ordered all first-born babies to be killed, and a women, Jochebed, searched for a way to save her son. She hid her baby in a basket made of reeds and gave him away to the river to be sent away in hopes to find a safer place. The act of abortion was strong in that day and the order-of-influence was working to kill the younger generation. Another act of abortion was shortly after the birth of Jesus. Matthew 2:13, tells us an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream telling him to flee to Egypt with Mary and the infant Jesus since King Herod would seek the child to kill him.
So, understand that the demonic influence has been at work for thousands of years and is now at work in our generation today as America and many parts of the world is pushing abortion. These laws in Congress are being passed but it is controlled by a higher power in the spiritual world.
That is why it is very important to seek God’s will on earth so we can perceive Law and Justice through God’s eyes. Justice as the world sees it is different than how believers see it because, again, philosophy is not accurate. Philosophy is seeing things from your own study and ideas based on your own culture. Culture in its simplest term is, your version of normal. When you see things from your own version [of normal], it is not reliable. Culture is not just a nation’s tradition, it is a mindset. People have ways of doing things because it seems normal to them.
We see justice in courts being done in a worldly manner and culture rather than how the Bible describes us to have Justice. Scripture says, “Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute,” (Psalm 82:3) “Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, and please the widow’s cause,” (Isaiah 1:17). It is clear that we see laws change in America that are contrary to the Word of God. We see police officers in America and other countries bring out the wrong act of justice to the public in an act of violence rather than reflecting on God’s true authority.
I realized that many schools throughout the world are taking out the name God. The Pledge of Allegiance of the United States is a powerful verse that promises allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. When people take out the name of God in a country, things become corrupt and start to align with how demons want to operate. Psalms 33:12 says, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord”. This is true in America and many countries because the name of God is being taken away in many parts of the world. America is introducing new laws and ideas that allow homosexualities and transgender acts to happen in the public—this is against the unchanging law of God.
Let this article be a reminder that when God is removed in a nation, God will allow them to do what they please because they forgot who their Lord was. Romans chapter one describes how people can drift off towards their own ideas and become influenced by the demonic powers. Women did shameful things with women and men did shameful things with men. People became sexually confused and the Lord let them do what they wanted because they wandered away. Instead they believe that what is wrong is right and what is right is wrong, just as Isaiah mentioned [Isaiah 5:20].
I pray this article gives you a new perspective on how I see Law and Justice through God’s eyes. God’s law never changes. Our laws do change and it needs to be aligned with the Word of God, but we do not see it happening in the world today.
My name is Jonathan Matei, I live in the United States and I released my new book called, Brave for Freedom. This book is a memoir about my father’s life, Viorel Matei, and it describes his attempt to flee Romania during the communism recession in the 1980’s. The power of Nicolae Ceausescu made poor economical decisions that resulted in the bloody revolution in Timisoara, Romania, in 1989. This memoir is unlike any other memoir you’ll ever read because it talks about my father’s life beginning at the age of three, leading up to the age of thirty-eight when he attempts to escape Romania and flee to America to find freedom.
There are also dialogue’s contained in this book so you can read the detailed conversations taking place between people in the book. You’ll also see the political events take place in this book and how Viorel reacts to those events. He finds Christ and also the of his life and gets tortured for trying to flee Romania.
You can find this book Brave for Freedom on Amazon.com as an eBook and physical paperback copy. More information is available at braveforfreedom.com
Thank you for taking the time to read this article. May God bless you and I hope you get to know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior in your life.

- Psychological abuse
- Women slavery
- Secret societies
- Political injustice
- Rejection of refugees
- Physical intimidation
- Ineffective legal system
- Inaccessibility of justice
- Denial of right to justice
- Psychological intimidation
- Injustice of special courts
- Discrimination in employment
- Unjust punishments for crimes

- Bribes
- Corruption in the law system
Now submit these challenges in Law and Justice to the rule of Christ Jesus and rejoice in His Eternal Love expressed by His Law and His Justice:
- Jesus proclaims the Kingdom of God.
As described in the Gospel of Mark, when Jesus’ ministry begins, He announced “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:15b ESV) - Jesus is the King of God’s true Kingdom.
Where the King is, there is the Kingdom. Jesus is both the faithful ruler and the righteous citizen of the Kingdom. “the kingdom of God is in the midst of you” (Luke 17:21b ESV) - Jesus reveals His purpose for the right Kingdom.
Jesus described his mission saying that He “must preach the good news of the kingdom of God” (Luke 4:43b ESV) - Jesus declares the Kingdom of God on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Jesus explains the Kingdom and invites people to enter into it. The declaration of the kingdom “on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10b ESV) - Jesus demonstrates the Kingdom.
Through His works, Jesus shows the power of the kingdom and his authority over the prince of darkness: “But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.” (Luke 11:20 NIV) - Jesus deploys the Kingdom.
Jesus sends his followers out as ambassadors of the kingdom with the Great Commission, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” (Matthew 28:18b NIV) He is the true Messiah and the ruler of all Governments. - Jesus transforms the kingdom.
Before ascending into heaven Jesus breathes the Holy Spirit onto his disciples (John 20:22) and commands them to wait in Jerusalem until they are baptised with the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:4-5) as He had promised them before he was crucified (in John 14 and 15). At Pentecost the Holy Spirit fell on Jesus disciples (Acts 2) and they were filled with boldness and power to be His “witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8b NIV)
Amen!
